Drug Design
Methodologies, LLC. is a St. Louis, Missouri based privately held company
headed by Dr. Chris Ho.
Dr.
Ho has over fifteen years of expertise in the application and development
of computational tools for drug design. During his doctoral training with
Professor Garland R. Marshall at Washington University - St. Louis, he
wrote numerous
software packages for
ligand-receptor visualization, 3D database searching, combinatorial database
design, and structure-based ligand design. In addition, through collaborative
agreements with the pharmaceutical industry (Monsanto Co, Parke-Davis Research,
Fisons), he gained valuable experience and insight into the scientific
needs of computational chemists. Soon after completing his doctorate
and medical degrees in 1996, he formed Drug Design Methodologies to put
his computational chemistry experience and ideas into practice.
Our mission is to develop the most technically advanced computer-aided drug refinement tools to streamline the lead optimization process. We work hand-in-hand with collaborators in the top pharmaceutical companies in order to ensure that the tools we develop are optimized for extensive practical application, utility, and ease of use.
Our
strengths are in the creation of
technologies
that empower the user by exploiting his or her proprietary data to afford
a distinct edge over the competition.
